If you don't mind the saloon aspect, it's a pretty good place to get steak. I got the lunch portion of the 10 ounce New York strip steak with a baked potato and a Coke. Cost me 20 bucks, which is about right. They did cook it medium rare, which was what I asked for. They also took the sour cream off the baked potato, which I'm not a big fan of sour cream. If I had been feeling froggy, I would've asked for some extra butter to put on top of the steak. But being that this is my first time to go, I wanted to critique the restaurant on the quality of the meat, which was pretty good. Texas Roadhouse might lose my business, if it wasn't for those rolls.

Really top notch steak, that's why you go. The atmosphere is descriptive of the "saloon" moniker. Which is just fine by me. The food is hot and there is plenty of it. If you're more concerned with presentation than quality and taste you'll struggle. I will definitely return for the steaks and cold beer.

I ordered hamburger steak with fries and a side salad and it was terrific! Salad was perfect and very large. Hamburger steak was 1 lb and perfect! I'm from Oklahoma and would eat here again!

I did not expect such a good piece of steak. You walk in and it looks like a bar. You can sit in that area, but there are pool tables and smoking in that section. They have a non-smoking section towards the back and we were lucky enough to come during the entertainment starting. The bar area was full of people, but the back was almost empty. We sat down and the waitress was very nice. We placed our order and listened to the music and enjoyed a wonderful meal. I had the New York strip and it was cooked to perfection! I recommend this place if you are in or passing through Longview.

On our way to Dallas, passed by Leon's, decided to stop. So glad we did. Ribeye and grilled pork loin cooked perfectly, seasoned and delicious. Best beans ever! Quick service. Sweetest waitress and talked with several other patrons. Only draw back was the smoke but tolerable. Would definitely return!!

So you say you like local color? We Leon's is it. The people are super nice. This has to be the hot spot of Longview. At first I thought this is just a cool place to hang out. The parking lot is packed at 8 pm on a Thursday night. The menu has a surprisingly broad selection. I we with the chicken fried chicken and it was fantastic. The breading was light and crispy. I would say the best I have had in a really long time. Next time I'm in Longview this will be my go to spot.

I picked this establishment cause the other steak house looks too foo foo. This place from the outside look like a hardcore biker bar, not a steak house. You don't see any windows from the outside or the inside. 21 and over to get in. Is a local steak house. The look can be deceiving, however, the steak is good for the price. The rib eye was juice, but a little salty. The cook had one too many salts shakes on the steak. The side dishes were good. The waitress Alexis was very polite and provide excellent service. The funny thing is been a while since I saw a restaurant that allows smoking. A couple of the patrons were puffing away, like a chimney. Lucky I was sitting at the other end of the restaurant, but you still can smell it. Don't let the appearance fool you. Go have a beer and a steak.
